The Best West Kelowna Golf Courses ‘Fore’ Everyone

The Okanagan is known for many activities – boating and swimming in Okanagan Lake, relaxing with a glass of local wine at the many wineries, and golfing the region’s vast amount of courses. Three such courses are a staple experience of West Kelowna. Some of which are even located by some prime pieces of land for sale. Learn more about what makes each course stand out below:

Shannon Lake Golf Course – Par 71

Located mere minutes away from Tallus Ridge, this course will challenge even the most experienced of golfers. Tall trees and moderate elevation,  plus a long eighth hole along the lake, make golfing a scenic experience while you’re there.
Once you’re done your game, there are plenty of fantastic dishes to try at Courses Restaurant. With menu options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, there’s something for everyone to have at every time of day—whether you’re coming off the green or just wanting to enjoy some excellent food. Some of the notable dinner dishes include pan-seared salmon and prime rib pot pie.

Two Eagles Golf Course – Par 63

Awarded Gold in the Best of Kelowna 2019 awards, this golf course provides plenty of good times to golfers of all ages. Their golfing academy, in particular, offers a wide variety of programs to help everyone at every stage of their game; this includes youth and private one-on-one sessions for those looking for something more professional. On the event side, the location is perfect for planning special events with a patio seating capacity of 125 people. The course itself has some incredible views, and while it’s fairly kid-friendly in difficulty it can still offer a challenge to those more experienced.
In terms of the restaurant, 19 Okanagan Grill + Bar, the food is high-quality and one of the best fine dining experiences in Kelowna. They’re known for using local products to serve up a delicious variety of food for lunch and dinner.

19 Greens Premier Putting Course

While not technically a fully-fledged golf course, 19 Greens is a great experience to practice your short game or even just relax with a couple of putting rounds. Perfect for kids and group events, the course offers both a natural grass putting course and mini-golf course to challenge different types of putting. Sink some hole-in-ones, keep your balls out of the water traps, and enjoy the outdoor views while you’re there. 
No matter your golf preferences, there are good times to be had at any one of the aforementioned courses. While Shannon Lake and Two Eagles are definitely more in tune with a true golfing experience, 19 Greens is a great place to unwind with some casual games.
